Blue Is the Warmest Colour (French: La Vie d’Adèle – Chapitres 1 & 2 – “The Life of Adèle – Chapters 1 & 2”) is a French drama film which is based on the name novel written by Julie Maroh. This is the movie about two girls, Adèle (Adèle Exarchopoulos) and Emma (Léa Seydoux), and their relationship. The movie was produced in six months in poor working conditions and won the Plame d’Or and the FIPRESCI Prize of 2013 Cannes Film Festival. It is also one of a famous lesbian movie.

Adèle met Emma, a women with short blue hair passing by, and Adèle was attracted. She tried to date a boy and they have sex but she didn’t feel for that. She broke off the boy after that. One time Adèle entered into a lesbian bar and met Emma by chance. Their relationship begun. Adèle went through her early adulthood with Emma. Sadly, Adèle realized they had little in common. This relationship ended up when Emma found Adèle slept with a man. The movie last scene is Adèle walked uncertainly out of the gallery.
